Information:
Our Client is a reputable glass manufacturing and value
addition company seeking the services of a Construction supervisor with sound
experience and skill in glass/ interior design and or construction.
Requirements
·
Work under the project manager to manage their
currently ongoing glass construction projects
·
Supervising of projects such as glass work on
buildings, curtain walling, dividers, frameless glass and windows
·
Supervising technicians
·
Updating clients on the progress of the work on
site
·
Responsible for the efficient, timely and cost
effective delivery of assigned projects in accordance with Policies and
Procedures
·
Ensure that all works executed by assigned staff
are carried out safely
·
Continually monitor project costs and maintain a
sound financial position for each project
·
Observe and implement the requirements of the
Occupational Safety and Health Act
·
Provide a consistently high level of service to
our customers in a prompt and pleasant manner
·
Coordinate and attend meetings between staff and
management during the design process
·
Perform other reasonably related duties
Qualifications
·
Diploma or Bachelors degree in Construction
Management/ Engineering/ Technical field
·
Must have a minimum of three (3) years
experience in construction supervision
·
Applicants in a similar capacity preferred
·
Experience in handling technicians
·
Experience in interacting with clients
·
Ability to work under pressure
·
Efficiency in Report writing
·
Very presentable individuals
·
Decision Making Capability
·
Good Knowledge in glass
