Pan Africa Christian University (PAC University) is a Chartered institution
of higher learning seeking to fill the following senior positions:
1) Associate Professor in
Business Department(1 Position): This
position aims to strengthen leadership and innovation in the Business and
Leadership Department and in other University level initiatives.
2) Associate Professor in
Bible & Theology(1 Position):This position aims to provide leadership and
institute necessary growth in the Bible and Theology Department and in other
University level initiatives.
3) Associate Professor in
Counseling Psychology(1 Position): This position aims to strengthen leadership
and innovation in the Counselling Psychology Department and in other University
level initiatives. A bias in Marriage
and Family Therapy will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities for Associate Professors:
§ Exercise academic
leadership for all subject area activities – teaching and research as
appropriate.
§ Design, develop, and
deliver a range of programmes of study at various levels.
§ Lead the development and
implementation of teaching and learning strategy.
§ Lead and coordinate
research activity in the subject area.
§ Supervise theses and
projects at the postgraduate level.
§ Contribute to the development
of academic policies across the institution.
§ Promote and market the
work of the Department in the subject area.
Requirements for Associate Professors:
a)
i) Business Department: must possess an earned PhD degree in Business
Administration with
specialization in either Finance or Accounting.
ii)Bible & Theology Department: must have a strong Theological
background and possess an
earned PhD in Biblical Studies or Theology or equivalent.
iii) Counselling Psychology Department: must possess an earned PhD degree
in any relevant branch of Psychology.Candidates with experience in Marriage
& Family Therapy will have an added advantage.
b) Have at least four (4)
years teaching experience as a Senior Lecturer in relevant area.
c) Have substantial experience in developing Academic programmes.
d) Have successfully
supervised at least four (4) Masters Students or two (2) PhD students since
being appointed Senior Lecturer.
e) Show evidence of
continuing research including having published at least four (4) articles in
refereed journals or two (2) articles in refereed journals plus one (1) book by
a reputable publisher since being appointed Senior Lecturer.
f) Show evidence of active
participation in departmental activities and good quality teaching.
g) Mature evangelical
Christian who subscribes to the PAC University’s Statement of Faith.
4) Campus Coordinator(1
Position):The purpose for the position is to have a strong and reliable
leadership at the Valley Road Campusto ensure growth, quality teaching, and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
§ Coordinate &provide
leadership for all the teaching and learning at the ValleyRoad Campus.
§ Teach in his/her area of
specialization.
§ Participate in the
marketing of PAC University programmes.
§ Oversee all the
administrative function of the Campus related to staff management and
University services.
§ Oversees maintenance of
Campus as well as, all property of the University
§ Monitors and ensures
that all security measures for the Center are adequate.
Minimum Requirements:
a) PhD in any of the
following fields:

Theology
·
Business
·
Counseling Psychology.
b) At least 3 years of
University teaching.
c) Show evidence of active
participation in departmental activities and good quality teaching.
d) Mature evangelical
Christian who subscribes to the PAC University’s Statement of Faith.
